Description

Are you a Tool Maker looking for a role where you're involved in the full design and build process? Do you enjoy turning technical drawings into high–quality tools and want to be part of a business that invests in your growth? If so, we want to hear from you!

We are currently recruiting for a Tool Maker to join a specialist kitchen component manufacturer based in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dedicated tool room where you'll be involved in the end–to–end creation of plastic injection mould tools, using both CAD and other design software, as well as hands–on machinery, to bring customer specifications to life.

Location: Corby

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm

Salary: 35,000 – 45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Contract: Permanent

Duties:

Design and manufacture tooling for plastic injection moulding from scratchInterpret customer specifications and produce high–quality technical solutionsUse CAD and similar software along with workshop machinery to develop tooling in–houseCollaborate closely with internal teams to ensure tool readiness for productionMaintain a safe and organised working environmentSupport continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiativesThe ideal candidate must:

Be an experienced or time–served Tool MakerHave a background in plastic injection moulding (desirable but not essential)Be confident using CAD and other relevant design software, plus manual machining equipmentBe able to read and interpret engineering drawingsTake pride in precision, craftsmanship, and qualityBe self–motivated and capable of managing their own projectsWork well both independently and as part of a teamBenefits:
