Job Description:

As a Stores Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly through efficient materials management. Working within the Operations team, you’ll be responsible for planning and carrying out kitting activities, supporting stock control, and maintaining accurate records on the ERP system.

Key responsibilities include:

*

Preparing kits for the Manufacturing Team with accuracy and speed.

*

Delivering products, consumables, and stock across the business.

*

Organising warehouse storage and replenishing Kanban stations.

*

Conducting stock counts, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining ERP accuracy.

*

Supporting goods-in and supply chain activities.

*

Maintaining high housekeeping standards and promoting a safe working environment.

This role requires flexibility to cover colleagues during holidays and sickness, ensuring continuity of service across the department.

Skills & Experience:

To be successful as a Stores Operative, you will need:

*

Minimum 1 year’s experience in a warehouse or stores environment.

*

Strong organisational and communication skills.

*

Ability to log and collate data accurately.

*

Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Sage, or similar).

*

Good knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.

*

Ability to prioritise workload in line with business needs.

Desirable:

*

Experience in manufacturing or engineering environments.

*

Awareness of 5S/continuous improvement.

*

Customs or logistics communication knowledge.
