Major Recruitment are seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join our client’s manufacturing site near Leeds

As Stock Controller you will ensure the controlled availability of packaging items and product to the production function.

Key Responsibilities as Stock Controller:

* Placing contracts (4- 13 Weeks Demand) & call offs (1–3-week demand) to cover forecasted volume and production plans.

* Collaborating with Supply planning, Demand planning, GTM & commercial to ensure all information is correct and present to enable Call offs and contract to be accurate and timely.

* Full end to end management of suppliers covering short- & long-term demand, expedition of materials where appropriate, chasing of short or late deliveries and any other queries that could arise in the day-to-day management of the suppliers.

* Attend weekly/ ad hoc meeting’s where appropriate contributing progress updates.

* Raise hold / rejection notes in accordance with agreed procedures.

* Maintenance of purchase orders in line with date/quantity changes.

* Reconciliation of Sage versus Infor and adjustments to Sage stock where applicable

* Carry out periodic reviews of safety stocks and lead times for all ordered components.

* Responding to any Invoice queries that come through from finance relating to receipts on Sage liaising with Finance to ensure credit notes are raised.

* Management, maintenance and analysis of the Packaging Runout Report and associated tools

* Use of Sage Line 500 to log and monitor Contract & call off commitments.

* Monitor and track contract in line with Procurement to maximise PPV.

* Proactive management of the R Status procedure to reduce exposure to potential obsolescence.

* Facilitate packaging redesign process managing delist and NPD launches for portfolio.

* Assistance with Regular Stock Take Activity as required.
