About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Solderer to join a dynamic production team in Basildon. This hands-on role focuses on Second Stage operations, including Through Hole soldering and SMT re-work, supporting the manufacture of high-quality PCBs. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where precision and quality are key.

Key Responsibilities

* Hand soldering of conventional components to IPC Class 2 standards (Class 3 knowledge is a plus)

* Re-working SMT and conventional components

* Reading and interpreting work packs and product specifications

* Inspecting finished work and resolving defects

* Pre-forming components and accurate product labelling

* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience in hand soldering within a manufacturing environment

* Familiarity with PCB manufacturing and ESD control

* Strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions

* A proactive, flexible team player with good communication skills

* Physically fit for manual handling and able to work on your feet
