Skilled Machine Operator – Food Processing

Location: Hull, East Yorkshire

Job Type: Full–Time, Temporary to Permanent

Pay: 13.67 per hour

Shifts: 4 on / 4 off

Key Responsibilities:

Machines setup and start–upLoading and unloading materialsOperating machinery safely and efficientlyObserve machine operations to detect malfunctions or irregularitiesReport issues to supervisors or maintenance teams and assist in basic troubleshooting if requiredMaintain production logs, machine performance records, and incident reports as requiredFollow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)Keep the work area clean and hazard–freeCommunicate clearly about machine status, output, and any issues

Shift Pattern (4on / 4off)

Days: 6AM – 6PM

What We're Looking For:

Previous machine operator experience (idealy in food industry)Ability to operate and adjust industrial machinery safely and efficiently.Ability to read and understand and comply with specificationsComfortable working in chilled conditionsStrong attention to detail and a methodical work ethicForward thinking and planning skillsReliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a teamPossess excellent communication skills and a positive attitudeFamiliarity with workplace safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE)Ability to perform routine checks, cleaning, and minor mechanical repairsWilling to work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
