Description

Job Title: Manufacturing Supervisor

Location: Malvern WR14

Reports To: Shop Floor Manager / Operations Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time (temp-perm)

Payrate: Up to £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:30

Friday: 07:45 – 15:00

Job Purpose:This role offers the first step into junior management, ideal for someone ready to take on leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced production environment. You’ll be responsible for leading a team, organising resources, and supporting senior management in driving performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Organise labour and materials to meet or exceed production targets

Support senior management with proactive planning and performance improvement

Communicate clearly with management on production updates, team matters, and improvement opportunities

Lead by example in professionalism, integrity, and company standards

Manage team motivation, morale, and conflict resolution with discretion and fairness

Maintain adherence to Health & Safety and company policy at all times

Take ownership of problem-solving within your team or escalate appropriately

Undertake additional tasks as directed by senior management

Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvementPerson Specification:

Experience in a production, assembly, or technical environment

Strong organisational and communication skills

Ability to lead and motivate a team

Calm, respectful, and professional approach to conflict resolution

Understanding of health and safety regulations

Proactive and solution-focused mindset
