SALARY: GBP51,085.16

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Nights Shift Manager based at our Clover Nook Site in Somercotes, Alfreton to lead and manage our Production Team Leaders, supporting the site's production performance to meet or exceed targets for safety, cost, quality, delivery, equipment, and people.

WHAT OUR SHIFT MANAGERS DO:

Lead and motivate the team through role modelling the Company ValuesEnsure the team is fully trained and confident in fulfilling their roleSupport Team Leaders to ensure they are complying with all mandatory training and development for themselves and their operatorsPromote and manage change across the shift teams when requiredDeliver and monitor training on a regular basisAdhere to the Manufacturing budgets and all operational policies, processes and SOP'sCommunicate continuous improvement and achievements of all business area KPI's during the shiftUtilise resource through the labour model and make corrective measures where required adhering to budgetary boundariesInvestigate all reported SHE incidents and implement relevant containment, corrective and preventative action plansEnsure that first–off samples are produced, checked and signed off according to the quality standardEnsure Quality standards are strictly adhered to and plans are in place to ensure waste/scrap is within target/budgetEnsure timely and accurate completion of operational checks and reports and accurately maintainedHave overall control and review of resources, SOPs, equipment, and performance

WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR SHIFT MANAGERS:

Excellent communication, with the ability to engage Team Leaders and Operatives Confident in conveying messages and expectations, for example, expected KPIs and behavioursPrevious experience of managing and developing a teamAbility to deliver business change and continuous process improvements along with budgets and resource planningConfident to produce accurate KPI updates and reportsHave a robust understanding of Health and Safety principles and commitment to delivering high standards
