We are currently hiring Recycling Operatives to join busy production line team based in Norwich. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, has good attention to detail, and takes pride in keeping the environment clean and safe.

Job Title: Recycling Operative

Location: Norwich

Hours: 06:00 – 18:00

Days: 4 – 5 days per week (occasional weekend work included) – overtime available

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Lunch: 1-hour lunch break, paid after successful completion of probation

About the Role:

As a recycling operative, your main task will be working on a production line, sorting recyclable materials from a moving conveyor belt. You will be responsible for identifying and removing non-recyclable or contaminated items to ensure only clean, usable materials go forward for further processing.

Your role as a recycling operative helps to support environmental sustainability and efficient waste management. You will play a key part in keeping the production line running smoothly and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

Sort recyclable materials from a moving production line

Remove items that cannot be recycled

Ensure correct separation of materials for recycling or disposal

Keep the work area clean, tidy, and hazard-free

Follow all health and safety procedures

Requirements:

Good level of physical fitness

Ability to focus and work efficiently on a busy production line

Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

Team player with a strong work ethic

Additional Info:

You will receive a 1-hour paid lunch break after passing probation
