Description

A Quality Engineer is sought to join an innovative engineering team in Hampshire, contributing to the delivery of high–quality electronic products and the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes within a fast–growing OEM supporting cutting–edge industries.

The Quality Engineer, Hampshire, will play a key role across the full product lifecycle, from supplier selection through to final inspection, ensuring that all products meet IPC–A–610, ISO9001 and other industry standards. You'll work closely with production, engineering, and supplier teams to maintain exceptional quality levels and drive improvements throughout the business.

Responsibilities include:

Overseeing production quality standards and technician trainingConducting first article inspections and managing non–conformancesSupporting design reviews, validation, and verification of new productsManaging customer complaints, audits, and satisfaction reportingLiaising with suppliers to resolve material issues and improve qualityMaintaining and improving the Business Management System and leading internal audits

The Quality Engineer, Hampshire, will have the following key skills:

Experience in a Quality Engineering role within electronics or high–tech manufacturingStrong knowledge of IPC–A–610, ISO9001, and related quality standardsExcellent problem–solving and communication skillsHands–on experience with inspection of electronic/mechanical assembliesProven ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
