QC Inspector

Chesterfield

GBP26k – GBP28k DOE

Monday Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 7am to 3pm (42.5 hours per week)

We re supporting a well–established company in Chesterfield that s looking to strengthen their team with a dependable and thorough QC Inspector.

This is a hands–on role in a busy warehouse and production environment, where you ll be at the heart of ensuring quality standards are consistently met.

What You ll Be Doing:

Checking and recording details of inbound and outbound stock Weighing, measuring, and calculating cubic measurements (cbm) of products Working through returned stock: palletising, assessing, and making decisions on next steps Performing sample inspections following customer complaints and preparing quality reports Completing rework tasks when needed to ensure quality standards are upheld Supporting with audit preparation and customer visits as required Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and operating to high Health & Safety standards Using IT systems including Excel, Outlook, and in–house databases to record and report findings Reporting any significant quality issues to the Line Manager promptly What We re Looking For:

Previous experience in quality control, warehousing or manufacturing Confident using IT systems to record data and produce reports Comfortable working in a hands–on environment, lifting in line with HSE guidelines Strong attention to detail with a methodical, organised approach A team player with a positive attitude, happy to get involved with continuous improvement projects Why You ll Love Working Here:
