One of our multinational manufacturing clients (Food & Beverage Industry) is looking for a strong shift leader to oversee daily operations to maintain smooth and efficient production. Ensures all products meet required specifications and production targets are achieved on schedule. Upholds compliance with internal Health and Safety standards among all shift personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Drives team performance by clearly setting expectations, planning tasks, monitoring outputs, and providing regular feedback. Offers coaching and takes corrective action when necessary, while enforcing relevant policies and procedures.

Manages production flow by monitoring each stage of the process, adjusting variables, supervising staff and equipment usage, and identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Delivers shift targets by assigning tasks, setting priorities, tracking progress, adapting plans as needed, and reporting performance metrics and outcomes.

Maintains equipment readiness by coordinating repairs and assessing new technologies and methods for potential implementation.

Ensures product quality is consistently maintained by following established quality standards, systems, and procedures.

Enforces Health and Safety compliance, addressing any related concerns in alignment with company policy and available resources.

Applies root–cause analysis and problem–solving methods to quickly resolve operational issues and guide the team in implementing effective solutions.

Collaborates with other shift leaders to ensure clear and effective handovers and operational continuity.

Identifies and addresses training needs to support both current performance and future skill requirements.

Actively supports and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at long–term operational and business growth.

Maintains high standards of housekeeping to ensure a safe and orderly work environment.

Oversees the efficient use of company resources to support cost–effective operations.

Exercises sound decision–making aligned with the company's organizational framework.
