Production & Material Controller required for our Manufacturing client based in Sheffield.

Production & Material Controller Benefits:

Salary: 30–35k DOELocation: Sheffield, S9 – full time office basedHours: 8am to 5pmContract: PermanentOnsite parking availableProduction & Material Controller Key Responsibilities:

As a Production & Material Controller, your main responsibility will be scheduling materials according to customer requirements and generating production orders. You will play a crucial role in liaising with both customers and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.

Production & Material Controller Key Duties Include:

Coordinating the scheduling of materials based on customer needs.Generating and managing production orders.Communicating effectively with customers and suppliers to address any issues or delays.Monitoring inventory levels and stock audits.Working closely with Production teams to ensure material needs are met according to production schedules.Demonstrating a hands–on approach and providing solutions to problems as they arise.Address any issues with supply chain delays, material shortages or production disruptions.Production & Material Controller Criteria:

Have previous experience in in a similar role – essential.Have previous experience in timber manufacturing or a related field (highly advantageous).Possess excellent communication and problem–solving skills.Demonstrate strong planning, organisational, and administrative abilities.Be self–motivated with a clear focus and drive, contributing positively to the business.Excellent IT skills, particularly for scheduling and administrative tasks.
