Description
Reporting into the Operations Director the Production Manager will be responsible for a manufacturing team of c40. You will have full autonomy for a suite of metrics (including OTIF), building and delivering production plans and leading the production and planning teams.
As Production Manager you will challenge all current production, planning and inventory systems providing leadership and development across the function.
Day to day responsibility will include:
Ownership of MRP systems and production planConsistent scrutiny of metrics driving ownership and accountability across the teamsProviding process expertise and capacity developmentSupporting NPD and commercial teams on product development and introductionTeam training Profile
The successful Production Manager will posses a range of the following:
Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes ideally across fast paced manual environmentsExcellent understanding of inventory control and MRP (or similar) systemsProven leadership skill setA pragmatic approach to problem solvingJob Offer
As Production Manager you will receive a 50–55k salary with a 10% bonus opportunity and a contributory pension
