On behalf of a well–established and highly respected manufacturer based in Maidenhead, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead a team within a high–performing production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader with a strong background in operations, team management, and continuous improvement.

As Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day–to–day operations developing production plans, managing inventory, maintaining SHE standards, and delivering against key operational targets. You'll work closely with senior leadership to drive productivity, ensure quality output, and create a safe, efficient workplace.

Key Responsibilities for the Production Manager Include:

Developing and executing production plans to achieve on–time delivery (OTD) and reduce arrearsLeading and motivating the team through clear communication, planning, and performance reviewsCollaborating with leadership and support functions to identify and resolve operational bottlenecksManaging paint and consumables inventory, equipment maintenance, and future capacity planningDriving continuous improvement initiatives to support wider business goalsUpholding SHE standards and ensuring a safe and compliant working environmentSupporting quality assurance through first–time pass (FPY) performance and adherence to quality standards

Previous experience in a management role within a manufacturing or production environmentStrong leadership and team development skillsExcellent planning, reporting, and time management abilitiesA proactive mindset with a focus on performance, quality, and safetyClear, confident communicationboth written and verbalAn understanding of SHE principles and compliance
