People Advisor

Location: Leicester Centre

Hours: Full–time

Contract: Fixed term 12 months

Salary: DOE

Start: September 2025

SF Recruitment are partnering with a fast–paced, well–established manufacturing business in Leicester to recruit a People Advisor for a 12–month fixed–term contract. This site–based role supports a busy operation.

You'll be providing practical HR support across the full employee lifecycle, with a real focus on employee relations. This includes managing a high volume of cases disciplinaries, grievances, performance management and confidently coaching and supporting managers on best practice, policies, and procedures. This is a hands–on, operational role offering variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact in a business with strong values and long–term stability.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for all employee relations matters, providing expert advice and support to managersManage a wide range of ER casework, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence managementCoach and guide managers through people processes to ensure consistency and complianceSupport day–to–day HR operations and queries from employees and line managersHelp deliver group initiatives locally, including L&D, recruitment, and payrollIdentify opportunities to improve HR processes and contribute to ongoing HR projects What We re Looking For

CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) or equivalent HR experienceStrong background in employee relations, with experience managing multiple complex casesConfident in advising and coaching managers at all levelsProactive and organised with the ability to juggle a varied workload in a fast–paced settingSolid Microsoft Office and HRIS skills What s On Offer
