Description

My client is looking to add an experienced Operations Manager to their leadership team. This role will be based from their site in Stirling, reporting directly to the MD and possessing overall responsibility for day–to–day site operations. The Operations Manager will support in the development of future company strategy.

Responsibilities will include:

Continually drive various Continuous Improvement initiatives such as lean implementation, quality improvements and production efficiency across all elements of the Operations FunctionFully responsible for all aspects of day–to–day operations including all elements of the Manufacturing FunctionAchieve all manufacturing and delivery schedule targetsLead all production planning activity from build and sales forecasting through final dispatchContinually look to improve the Operational culture with a focus on increased transparency, positivity, recognition and a shared committed to succeed as a teamDevelop, monitor and report Operational KPI'sEnsure production is cost effective, ran as efficiently as possible and minimise overtime spendImplement a culture of Continuous Improvement, always seeking out opportunities to do things better

Qualifications & Experience required:

7+ years minimum experience in a manufacturing / operations management roleSound knowledge, understanding and examples of implementation of lean manufacturing principles and methodsImplement a culture of continuous improvement, always seeking out opportunities to do things betterExcellent project management skillsThe ability to lead, motivate and influence large multi–functional teamsSuccessful track record of training employees in productivity and safetySuccessful implementation of an effective succession planning program BBBH33585
