Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Bristol–area
Salary: Up to 45,000 p/a (DOE)
Full–Time Permanent
Carbon60 have partnered with leading manufacturing client in the Bristol area who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing new mechanical products and improving existing onesCreating bespoke solutions for customer–specific requirementsManaging engineering projects from concept to completionProducing technical drawings and conducting FEA analysisPreparing reports and maintaining compliance documentationCollaborating with cross–functional teams across the business
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field3+ years' experience in a similar roleProficiency in SolidWorks and CAD systemsStrong analytical, mathematical, and problem–solving skillsExcellent communication and organisational abilitiesExperience with aluminium structures (preferred)ERP system knowledge and commercial awareness
