MATERIAL HANDLER

Commutable from Birmingham, Halesowen, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Moseley, Yardley, Aston, Brownhills, Smethwick, Solihull, Tamworth, Lichfield, Aldridge, Minworth and Coleshill

We are looking for a skilled Material Handler to support our busy warehouse operations and play a key role in getting the right materials to the right place—on time, every time. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you’ll be the backbone of our production flow, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety at every stage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Keep materials flowing smoothly to production—issuing stock in full and on time

* Process orders quickly and accurately, updating live bookings in SAP

* Receive, document, and store incoming goods with precision

* Pick, pack, and load items for dispatch, ensuring all paperwork is spot on

* Manage stock rotations, returns, shortages, and transfers between warehouses

* Carry out regular stock checks and maintain accurate records

* Uphold 5S standards, keeping the warehouse safe, efficient, and organized

* Operate and maintain FLT equipment (Counterbalance & Reach – Flexi is a plus)

* Support colleagues by delivering and collecting materials internally

REQUIREMENTS

* Strong understanding of 5S principles and safety procedures

* Proven ability to work accurately, meet tight deadlines, and keep records up to date

* Good standard of education

* FLT Licence – Counterbalance & Reach (Flexi an advantage)

* Solid experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment

* Hands-on knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and Excel ( or similar)
