Description

We're seeking a fully trained Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to support both reactive and planned maintenance across our clients site. If you're hands–on, mechanically skilled, and thrive in a fast–paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform statutory and preventative maintenance on plant and equipmentRespond promptly to breakdowns and diagnose mechanical faultsCarry out repairs and rebuilds as neededManufacture replacement parts (lathe/milling experience preferred)Assist with installation of new equipment to specificationOperate portable tools and plant equipment safelyPerform welding and fabrication tasksMaintain accurate records using our CMMS systemSupport continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter/TechnicianNVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred)Strong time management and organisational skillsIT literate with experience using maintenance systemsFlexible with working hours and overtimeExperience with CAD/SolidWorks, automation, or robotics (advantageous)Basic electrical competence (preferred)
