Key responsibilities:

Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimise downtime.Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure equipment efficiency and reliability.Carry out routine inspections to identify potential maintenance needs.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all maintenance tasks.Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

A qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.Experience working with industrial or manufacturing equipment.Electrical knowledge and experience is a bonus.Gas safe certifications beneficial.Pipe–fitting work beneficial.Strong problem–solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.Knowledge of health and safety standards within an industrial setting.The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and a focus on maintaining high standards.Job Offer
