Job Title: Machine Operator (Joinery Workshop)

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £30,160 + Benefits

We’re seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our busy workshop in Glasgow. If you have experience operating woodworking machinery and want to contribute to the production of high-quality bespoke joinery, this role offers stability, variety, and growth opportunities.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of woodworking machinery to prepare materials for our bench joiners and support the delivery of bespoke projects. Your accuracy, efficiency, and commitment to safety will be vital in helping us deliver projects of exceptional quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machinery including saws, edgebanders, planers, and spindle moulders

• Prepare and cut materials accurately from manufacturing drawings and cutting lists

• Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications

• Maintain machinery and ensure safe working practices at all times

• Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth workflow in the workshop

About You

• Previous experience in a joinery or woodworking workshop environment

• Skilled in operating a variety of woodworking machines

• Ability to read and work from manufacturing drawings and cutting lists

• Good knowledge of wood types, materials, and tolerances

• Safety-conscious, reliable, and a strong team player

• Keen eye for detail with a commitment to quality output
