Job Title: Machine Operator– Nights

Location: Dursley

Pay Range/details: GBP15.20– GBP16.86 per hour (depeding on department)

Contract Type: Temporary to permanent

A leading Textile Manufacturer based in Cam, Dursley, is looking for a Machine Operator to join their growing team. The position is full time on night shift and after training the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join on a permanent contract.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will join the weaving or yarn department, operating high–speed machines and ensuring all products meet pre–determined specifications. You'll work in a dynamic manufacturing environment, contributing to high–quality textile production.

Shift Pattern

Monday– Thursday 22:00– 06:00, Friday 20:00– 03:00

Sunday 23:00– 06:00, Monday to Thursday 22:00– 06:00

Key Responsibilities Machine Operator

Operate and manage a variety of high–speed machinesConduct quality control checks and maintain production standardsLog and report any issues with sub–standard products or machineryMaintain an organised and tidy work environmentAdapt quickly to new tasks and ensure flexibility in a fast–paced setting Candidate Requirements Machine Operator

At least 2 years experience in a manufacturing environmentProven ability to work with minimal supervisionOrganised, proactive and able to work efficiently under time pressures
