Contract Type: Temporary–to–Permanent (temp–to–perm)

Reports to: Logistics Manager

Hourly Rate: GBP12.41

Hours: 08:00–17:00 (30–minute lunch break) – flexibility required

Licence: Full manual driving licence required

Role Overview

The Logistics Assistant supports the smooth running of warehouse operations by managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and maintaining accurate records in line with HMRC requirements. This role is vital to ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance in all logistics activities.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare shipping and delivery documents (labels, manifests, invoices). Receive and verify deliveries; supervise loading/unloading. Maintain inventory data in warehouse systems and Excel. Liaise with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams to meet deadlines. Archive import/export documents and ensure Customs compliance. Support stock counts and prepare performance reports. Skills & Requirements

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Good written and spoken English. Competent in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge an advantage. Resilient under pressure and proactive in problem–solving. Counterbalance Forklift Licence preferred. Previous logistics/warehousing experience essential. How to Apply
