Laboratory Porter Quality Control / Salary: 12.65 per hour / Location: Basingstoke, RG24 / Contract: Temporary Ongoing

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global leader in scientific innovation, for a Laboratory Porter position at their Basingstoke facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload laboratory autoclaves to scheduled timesSafely dispose of microbiological and hazardous waste following company guidelinesClean and maintain reusable autoclave bins and lab glasswareReplenish and distribute consumables across laboratory teamsPrepare media and stock plates, and maintain culture stocksNotify engineering and line management of equipment faultsAssist with laundry services and maintain laboratory hygiene standardsEnsure compliance with company Quality Systems and safety practicesSupport the Curator and collaborate with Quality Control staffCandidate Profile:

Strong planning and organisational skillsClear communicator with collaborative work ethicPractical, flexible, and able to multitaskDemonstrates integrity and safety awareness in all dutiesCommitted to the company values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, Involvement
