We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Manufacturing Engineer to join a dynamic and forward–thinking manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a couple of years experience in industry who is ready to develop their career in process improvement, new product introduction, and lean manufacturing.

You will work closely with operations, supply chain, and design engineering teams to support existing products and help define processes for new product introductions. The role offers hands–on involvement in continuous improvement initiatives, problem–solving, and the optimisation of production processes.

Key Responsibilities for the Junior Manufacturing Engineer:

Support manufacturing cell leaders and engineers in improving process efficiency and reducing production issues.

Assist in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), routings, and visual factory displays.

Help implement lean manufacturing methods such as one–piece flow, 5S, and visual management.

Record, analyse, and present production data to drive improvements in throughput, quality, and cost reduction.

Support layout changes, process improvements, and CAPEX projects.

Participate in problem–solving activities using structured tools such as 5 Whys and Fishbone Diagrams.

Assist in developing process FMEAs and control plans.

Work with engineering teams to ensure smooth new product introductions and manage legacy products through their lifecycle.

About You:

1 3 years experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment (electromechanical, automotive, aerospace, or related industries preferred).

Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods.

Exposure to problem–solving tools such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa, or 8D.

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Strong attention to detail, logical approach, and ability to work to deadlines.

A proactive and self–motivated team player with excellent communication skills.

If you are eager to develop your skills, take ownership of projects, and work within a collaborative engineering team, we would like to hear from you.
