Full Time & Permanent

Ideally based between Bristol and Exeter to support sites across the region

Up to 55,000 + company vehicle

They are looking for a passionate and proactive Health and Safety Advisor to join their dynamic team and help them uphold and exceed their commitment to health and safety standards.

The Role

As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in promoting a culture of safety across all levels of the organisation. Working closely with teams on–site and in the office, you'll provide expert guidance, ensure compliance and lead initiatives that prioritise the wellbeing of their workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies.Develop, implement and review risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).Deliver engaging health and safety training and toolbox talks to staff and subcontractors.Investigate accidents, incidents and near–misses, producing detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.Support teams with practical solutions to health and safety challenges.Stay up to date with changes in legislation and ensure policies and procedures are updated accordingly.Foster a positive health and safety culture across all teams.What They're Looking For:

NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent (essential).Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within construction (or similar).Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage others.A proactive and practical approach to problem–solving.Full UK driving licence (essential).What They Offer:
