Acorn by Synergie is seeking an experienced Glazing Technician for a Global Optical manufacturing business in Thornbury, Bristol BS35 3UW. Due to location you must be able to drive if you live outside of Thornbury.

Details:

Hourly Rate: 13.40 per hour.Rotating shift pattern:Monday to Thursday, 6am – 2pm, and Friday, 5am – 1pm.Monday to Thursday, 2pm – 10pm, and Friday, 1pm – 8pm.Will be required to work 1 Saturday a month. Main Tasks and Key Responsibilities:

Verification of all lenses against ISO aspect standards.Blocking of lenses against customer order requirements.The cutting and sizing of lenses by the using edging machines from specific customer information.To accurately fit and adjust lenses to customer frame.Final inspection of the finished job against customer specification and within ISO aspect and CEN tolerances.Cleaning of all tanks and machines using PPE provided.Good housekeeping within the work place.Prioritise specific work against customer delivery service schedules.Experience required:
