FLT Driver - Counterbalance & Reach

Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver.

Must have Counterbalance and Reach Licenses.

Our client is based near Waterloo in Huddersfield, they manufacture on site and have need of a good FLT Driver, to take deliveries, put deliveries into stock, feed the production lines with materials, take finished goods from ends of lines, load vehicles etc.....

Role / Objective:

To ensure that materials and products are managed in a safe and efficient way.

To keep production supplied and the warehouse facilities running efficiently through effective shipping and receiving, to inventory, paperwork, forklift operation

Doing audit checks for damaged goods.

To take part in improvement activities to support the business in being more successful.

Requirements:

* Forklift experience and comply to all safety rules to safely operate a forklift

* FLT counterbalance and Reach License - this must have been refreshed within the last 5 years

* Good IT Skills (Excel, Outlook and Word) for data entry and inventory.

* Ability to organise for maximum efficiency.

* Self-starter with a high level of energy.

* To understand TPM and improvement processes

* Previous order picking experience a must.

* Good numerical and reading skills, to read and pick orders

* Good timekeeping and attendance

* To take part in the Health and Safety Committee

* Friendly, enthusiastic and motivated.

Additional Information:

Contract - 12-week temp to perm

Working hours - 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm Mon to Fri, rotating weekly.

£13.39 per hour 37.5 hours a week

25 Days Holiday plus 8 Stats

Overtime Available
