Description
Contract Personnel are currently recruiting Fabricators for our client based in Norwich.
Please note: We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must have the legal right to live and work in the UK at the time of application.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the manufacturing and assembly of uPVC or aluminium windows and doors, ensuring all products are made to a high standard and meet customer specifications.
Duties and responsibilities:
Fabricate uPVC or aluminium windows, doors, and frames using hand tools, power tools, and machinery
Cut, assemble, and fit components accurately according to technical drawings and measurements
Carry out quality checks at each stage of the fabrication process
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
Any other duties as required
Requirements:
Previous experience in window or door fabrication (uPVC or aluminium) OR come from a manufacturing/assembly background
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
Shift pattern:
Monday to Thursday: 06:30 - 15:00
Friday: 06:30 - 13:30
