CNC Turner – Setter / Operator

Description

Our client is looking for a CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join our skilled machining team. You ll be working on CNC lathes (Doosan and HAAS) using FANUC controls, setting and running pre–programmed jobs created by our in–house programmer. We re open to discussing pay based on experience, and can discuss day, afternoon, or night shifts if you had specific requests.

Key Responsibilities:

Set and operate CNC lathes (Doosan and HAAS) using FANUC controls

Run pre–written programs and ensure smooth, accurate operation

Set tooling and produce first–off parts to spec

Perform in–process checks to ensure components meet drawing requirements

Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working area

What We re Looking For:

Proven experience setting and operating CNC turning machines

Confident using FANUC controls

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Skilled in standard inspection tools (micrometres, verniers, gauges)

Reliable, proactive, and quality–driven
