CNC Machinist

Location: Feltham

Salary: GBP20 – GBP25 per hour

Job Type: Contract

Working Hours: 8am–5pm Thursdays, 8–1pm on Fridays

Join a High–Performing Precision Engineering Team. We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our skilled and forward–thinking engineering team in Sunbury–on–Thames. This is a fantastic permanent opportunity offering competitive hourly pay and the chance to work in a clean, modern, and progressive manufacturing environment.

You'll play a key role in the production of precision–engineered components, using both CNC milling machines and manual workshop equipment. We're seeking an individual with a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist

Machining & Production

Manufacture components to exacting tolerances using CNC and manual machines

Interpret technical drawings and specifications with precision

Support documentation of drawing changes to improve production accuracy

Efficiency & Improvement

Identify and address production inefficiencies or waste

Work with a mindset of cost–effectiveness, safety, and functionality

Maintain a clean and organised work area, following 5S principles

Actively contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing efforts

About You

Proven experience in CNC and/or manual machining

Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances

Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality

A collaborative attitude and solid problem–solving skills
