Cleaning Waste Operative - Temp position

FULL DRIVING LICENCE ESSENTIAL

Job Title: Waste Cleaning Operative, Silverburn Shopping Centre, G53 6AG

Shift pattern: - 6am/2pm & 2pm/10pm working 5days over 7days to include weekends.

Reports to: Supervisor

40hrs per week

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Dealing with the waste collection and recycling needs in a busy Shopping Centre

Carrying out reactive tasks when and where the business requires

Providing a customer friendly atmosphere towards all our customers

To ensure high standards of cleaning are maintained.

To work in accordance with Company Health and Safety Procedures, adopting safe systems of work.

To check equipment prior to use and report defective equipment to a member of Management.

To report any hazardous or potentially hazardous situation to a member of Management.

Operate equipment for which you will be given full training or have been given full instructions.

To ensure that all hazardous substances are handled in a safe and responsible manner.

Knowledge of COSHH regulations (would be an advantage)

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.

A valid driving licence is essential.

Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with team members and customers.

A customer service-oriented attitude is highly valued, as you will be representing our company in the community.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and responsibility in all tasks undertaken.

Pay: GBP12.60 per hour
