Job Title: Shop Floor Labourer / Cleaner

Location: Leicester, LE8

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Hours: 07:30am to 4:30pm Mon to Thu / 07:30am to 01:30pm on a Fri (Start and finish times can be flexible)

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Shop Floor Labourer / Cleaner to join a busy manufacturing team team. This is a hands-on role supporting the smooth running of the manufacturing operations by ensuring the shop floor is kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times. You'll be responsible for a mix of cleaning duties and general labour tasks, so a flexible, can-do attitude is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Sweeping, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness across the shop floor

Removing waste, emptying bins, and disposing of materials safely

Assisting with the movement and organisation of goods and materials

Cleaning machinery, equipment, and work areas as required

Following health & safety procedures at all times

Supporting other shop floor activities as needed

About You:

Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Good attention to detail and pride in keeping a workspace clean and safe

Able to follow instructions and work to deadlines

Previous experience in cleaning, labouring, or a similar environment is an advantage
