Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Middleton, is seeking a dynamic and skilled Production Operative to join their team. The company specialises in the production of a diverse range of products serving various markets. As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and contributing to the production of high–quality goods.

Key Responsibilities:

– Feed raw materials into production machinery

– Perform packing tasks and prepare finished goods for shipment

– Operate production machinery, including the use of lifting equipment

– Conduct quality assurance and testing checks

– Assemble, pack, and label finished products

Requirements:

– Previous experience working with production machinery

– Ideally, experience in the plastics industry (though not essential)

– Ability to work on a rotating shift basis (05:40 – 13:40 and 13:20 – 21:20 rotating weekly)
