Assist in maintaining and reconciling the general ledgerPost journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial recordsProcess supplier invoices and credit notesPrepare payment runs and reconcile supplier statementsRaise and issue customer invoices; follow up on overdue accountsPerform daily and monthly bank reconciliationsPrepare and submit quarterly VAT returns in line with relevant regulationsEnsure accurate VAT treatment on all sales and purchase invoicesMaintain and file supporting documentation for VAT auditsAssist with month–end closing procedures, including accruals and prepaymentsProfile

A successful VAT Accountant should have:

A strong educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.Proficiency in accounting software and Excel for financial analysis and reporting.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Effective communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.Job Offer
