Contract Assembly Technician 4–Month Contract (Inside IR35)
Location: Wokingham
Contract Type: 4 Months (Inside IR35)
Pay Rate: GBP15.00 per hour (PAYE) or GBP20.00 per hour (via Umbrella company)
Start Date: Immediate
We are currently seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team in Wokingham on a 4–month contract basis. This role is ideal for a skilled technician with a strong background in soldering, PCB assembly, and control systems, looking to contribute to a dynamic and fast–paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high–quality soldering and PCB assembly
Build and wire electrical cabinets and enclosures
Assemble and install control systems and low voltage electrical systems
Interpret and work from system diagrams, schematics, and wiring schedules
Conduct quality reviews of technical drawings and provide feedback
Perform functional testing and ensure systems meet quality standards
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues
Requirements:
Proven experience in:
Soldering and PCB assembly
Cabinet/enclosure builds
Wiring and control systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Right to work in the UK (essential)
