Pro-Found Recruitment are on look out for an Assembly Operative for our client based in Rotherham.

Assembly Operative Benefits:

Hours: Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm

Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour - 40 hours per week

Hours: 40 hours per week paid weekly

Start date: ASAP

Contract: Temporary client requirement

Location: RotherhamAssembly Operative Duties:

Assembling furniture

Cleaning and wrappying furniture

Working on assembly / production lines

Using hand tools

Quality checking of materials and finished products

Packing and taping items

Working with wood/chip board/MDF

Manual handling and lifting

Following instructions

General Housekeeping

Working on your own and as part of a team

Working alongside the CNC Operatives lifting wood into machinery

Minimum daily requirements (production targets)Assembly Operative Criteria:

Previous assembly/manufacturing experience - essential

Experience of operating and using hand tools - essential

Previous experience assembling furniture - preferred but not essential

Experience of joinery/carpentry preferred but not essential

Hard working, reliable and punctual

Strong attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and work to SOPs

Good work ethic and prepared to learn new skills

Team player

Excellent understanding of health and safety in the workplace**Please note this is a very physically demanding role and requires regular manual handling as part of the day to day duties**
