Description

Metalis Engineering are supporting a turnkey business who design and manufacture high–quality machinery. They are a well established business selling their bespoke and high value machines all across the world.

The Role:

They are seeking a multi–skilled production worker/engineer to join the team, assisting with the manufacture of machines.

This is a varied, hands–on role ideal for someone who enjoys working on different tasks each day and being part of a collaborative team.

Hours: Alternating 4– and 5–day weeks (8:05am–4:50pm, 30 min lunch; every other Friday off)

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble products and fixtures accurately following engineering drawingsPerform light machining duties, including drilling, manual milling, and turningCarry out welding and fabrication tasks to build componentsConduct quality checks on parts and finished products to ensure standards are metPrepare and finish components, including deburring and surface finishingMaintain tools, machinery, and work area to ensure a safe and efficient workspacePerson Specification:

Multi–skilled, with experience in assembly and production environmentsPrevious experience in turn–key engineering environments desirableAble to read and interpret engineering drawingsStrong teamwork skills with a problem–solving mindsetMust live local to RochdaleBenefits:
