Description
Eastman MD514 mandolin.
A lovely little mandolin. I have recorded and gigged with it on a few festivals over the years. This was my first good-sounding mandolin. It's a early version of Eastman's oval hole F4-style mandolin. It's a great all-rounder!
I play Irish trad, bluegrass and contemporary acoustic music.

I have included a video/audio of the mandolin in the context of one of my original instrumental recordings that I sometimes write for music publishers.
The mandolin is in pretty good condition. It has a few nicks and signs of use.
The scroll on the head stock was professionally attached (see pic) by Richmond Guitar Repairs, after an accident at a gig. It is really solid and never been an issue since.
The mandolin comes with a hard case and is also fitted with a really nice K&K twin Internal pickup. Sounds fab played live.
