Bargain priced Eastman Mandolin

Eastman Mandolin MD 505
(6017) an A-style Mandoline with F-holes.
All solid wood, handcrafted and finished in Eastman's Truetone finish.
This mandolin holds its tuning well. It plays beautifully, with an easy action, a lovely tone, and a loud sound.
Eastman Valuation £600 to £750.
I've dropped the price to the lowest I'm going, £550.
Considering it's excellent condition, great pedigree, and it's used valuation from the makers, Eastman, I think it's a bargain, and it hurts a bit to sell it so low. So please don't bother offering less than £550. (Unless you collect from me here. Then £540 will buy it.)

Your MD505 is an early model.  It would have been sprayed in Nitro at that time, but all the other specs are roughly the same. Woods used and construction are all the same.  You may have the old style headstock similar to what you see on our archtop guitars. Maple neck construction, parallel bracing, and Carved Solid Maple back and sides, Ebony fingerboard bone nut and carved solid top, - a hand carved solid Spruce top.

This has an adjustable bridge, and simple leather strap used when playing.
Price includes a Kinsman hard case which is softly lined, with a small storage pocket in the usual place.
