Description
2015, 15" Macbook Pro. 256Gb SSD, 16Gb RAM & i7 processor. This was probably the best of the Intel Macbooks as the next ones had the controversial touchbar function keys and the even more "controversial" keyboard.
This one has great speakers and a fantastic biggish screen. Also the last light up Apple Logo.
Ive got a new one so its not getting too much use. In its day it was a high spec machine so even now its fine for media playback and the internet. I have managed to do hd video editing without a hitch as well but I wouldnt try 4k. Photoshop worked fine too. Office type tasks are easy on just about everything so no bother to this.
Battery holds up well, while its not up to the standard of the newer ones you can still get two movies worth of video playback.
Condition is very tidy as well, best thing about these are the build quality. The OS on this is now back to El Capitan, I was using it on Monterey but it defaulted back when I erased and reset it. Moneray can be installed on it via Apple Update. Moterey isnt too old but I didnt use Safari to avoid security Issues. Chrome or Edge get updates as they arise but with mac you only get browser updates bundled with the OS update.
There is also a gizmo which adapts an old style lightening port to USB C.
Anyway a sturdy, classy and cheap intro to anyone who wants to try out Mac to see if they get on with it. Or a brilliant light to moderate use computer..with an illuminated apple.
Cash on collection. Not willing to post abroad or deal with couriers and so on.
