Introducing the Lotus 2-Eleven, upgraded to a GT4 specification. A purpose-built track car that embodies lightweight performance, precision handling, and pure driving engagement.

Developed as a homologated road car, the 2-Eleven platform is a race-focused car with factory-spec engineering.

The 2-Eleven model was launched in 2007 and was designed to be as close to a road-legal race car as possible. From its success, and the potential competitiveness of the platform, Lotus Motorsport developed the GT4 Supersport version, specifically for racing. The GT4 Supersport was built by the Lotus Motorsport division at Hethel, featuring an array of upgrades to meet international endurance and sprint race standards. Some of these included a reinforced chassis, with an integrated and certified roll cage, FIA-spec fire suppression system and aerodynamic enhancements.

A limited number of 2-Eleven were built, with 37 of the cars utilising the normally aspirated 2ZZ engine. Of the 37 N/A models built, 21 were finished in Aspen White.

This particular car was signed off from the production line on 14th January 2009 before being shipped to Japan and sold by LCI Ltd, the official Japanese importer and distributor for Lotus Cars, based in Tokyo. The car was destined for a life of racing, having been imported with 14 other cars to form a 2-Eleven Japanese race series. However, the car never got to race, and instead became a show car for use at motor shows. Eventually, the car would find itself in New Zealand, having been shipped to a Lotus dealer where it would be displayed in the showroom.

The car would then be purchased by a UK based collector, still as a delivery mileage example, who brought it back to the UK. In July 2016, the car would be road registered by the collector, before being sold in 2017.

Under new ownership, the car was transformed from its naturally-aspirated setup, with the installation of a Rotrex C30-94 supercharger and supporting upgrades including Pro-Alloy charge cooler, SC Delta ECU management, 750cc injectors, uprated fuel pump and uprated engine mounts. All installed by Datum Motorsport. A baffled sump was also installed. Soon after, an AIM MX2E digital dash would be installed alongside a regular service, thus continuing the improvement of the car. These upgrades result in the car producing 320bhp and 210ft lb of torque.

The driving experience of this 2-Eleven has been further improved with the installation of an exposed gear-shifter, as found in the later Exige S3 models, providing an excellent feel that compliments the drive of the car. A 2Bular exhaust manifold and GT3 silencer complete the overall package.

A single piece tonneau cover panel covers what would be the passenger side, further reinforcing the cars motorsport purpose and visuals.

PPF is installed across the car, in the most prone areas, including the front end, side skirts and side panels, wheel arches and along the drivers side where entering the vehicle.

Having covered just 2,750 miles since leaving the factory, and now inspected and prepared by the knowledgeable Hilton & Moss team, this low mileage, superbly presented 2-Eleven is ready for a new challenge. In summary, this 2-Eleven is the ultimate package for use at the track, or on the road, with extensive upgrades and maintenance having been carried out.
