The Lotus Esprit Turbo SE represented a bold evolution of Lotus's flagship supercar, blending the unmistakable wedge-shaped silhouette with refined aerodynamics and serious performance upgrades.

At its heart sat a turbocharged 2.2L 16-valve engine, paired with Lotus's Chargecooler system, producing an impressive 264BHP. This gave the Esprit SE the ability to accelerate from 0-60MPH in just 4.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 165MPH - figures that firmly placed it among the quickest cars of its era.

The engineering went beyond outright speed; Lotus's legendary chassis tuning ensured razor-sharp handling, remarkable balance, and driver feedback that few rivals could match.
