Description

Role: Warehouse Technician

Location: Hinkley Point C Bridgwater Area

Position: Contract – Rolling 12 months

The Opportunity

As a Warehouse Technician, you will support the operational readiness of the Hinkley Point C site. Working within the Commissioning and Maintenance Operations team, you'll help ensure that critical materials and spares are available for commissioning, interim maintenance activities, and long–term station operation.

This is a hands–on role that will see you working closely with multiple departments including Pre–Operations, Commissioning, and Installation. You'll also receive full training and access to technical documentation to succeed in your role.

What You'll Be Doing

Accurately update and manage inventory systemsReceive, inspect, and process incoming goodsOperate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and electric carouselsOrganize and maintain warehouse spaces, ensuring compliance with safety and chemical storage protocolsPick, pack, and label items for use across the HPC projectLoad and unload materials from vehiclesSupport logistics operations across the HPC siteWhat We're Looking For

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detailComfortable in a physically active roleProficiency in Office 365 (Excel, Word, etc.)Experience working with warehouse/inventory management systemsWillingness to follow procedures with a questioning attitudeMinimum GCSE/National Qualification standardsA valid UK driving licence
