Transport Administrator – (Stoke–on–Trent)

Staffline is recruiting for 2 x Transport Administrator, working for one of our most prestigious clients based in Stoke–on–Trent.

Working pattern 4 on, 4 off, with split shifts on days and nights. Working 12 hour rotating shifts 2 weeks 06:30–18:30 days then 2 weeks 18:30 – 06:30 nights

PAYE Pay GBP15.02 Per Hour

You will assist the first line Managers in the day to day operation of the transport department.

Your Time at Work

Responsibilities include:

– Collating figures for the KPI's of the department

– Despatching the drivers

– Monitoring and recording hauliers live delivery performance

– Communicate any issues to our external and internal customers

– Work in collaboration with other DHL sites to maximise efficiencies and best practice

– Assist with customer enquiries

– General data input

– Controlling moves of trailers using yard smart

– Asset control

– Other transport related duties

– Have excellent organisational skills

– Have good analytical and numerical skills

– Be an excellent communicator (verbal & written)

– Have knowledge of Health and Safety requirements

– Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

– Have an excellent approach to attention of detail.
