With a strong reputation for reliability, they are now seeking a Stock Controller to support their warehouse operations and ensure optimal inventory accuracy.

Description

As a Stock Controller, you will play a key role in managing stock levels and driving efficiency within the warehouse operation. Responsibilities include:

Monitoring and maintaining accurate stock levels across multiple product lines.Stock Counting & Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts to maintain accurate inventory records. This includes physical counting, data entry, and stock reconciliation.Conducting regular stock counts, reconciliations, and investigations into discrepancies.Working closely with Warehouse and Operations teams to ensure smooth inbound and outbound processes.Supporting the implementation of stock control processes and continuous improvement initiatives.Liaising with internal teams and external partners to resolve stock-related issues quickly and effectivelyRoute Planning: Plan and optimize travel routes to ensure periodic stock checks are completed efficiently across different locations. The successful Stock Controller candidate will have:

Proven experience in a Stock Control or Inventory Management role, ideally within logistics, warehousing, or supply chain.Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.Route Planning Experience: Previous experience in planning travel routes and scheduling activities.Data Management Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management systems.A proactive and collaborative approach to working across teams.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
