Ocean Freight Coordinator – Lichfield – Up to 35,000

We're looking for an experienced Sea Freight Forwarder to manage end–to–end import/export operations (FCL & LCL) for our client. This is a hands–on forwarding role combining operations and customer service, with opportunities to support commercial growth.

Job type: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday – 08:30 to 17:30

Salary: Up to 35,000

– Hybrid option after passing of probation (3 days office, 2 days home)

Day–to–day:

Handle full shipment cycle: bookings, documentation, customs, and deliveryProvide quotes, negotiate rates, and support salesBuild relationships with carriers, agents, and clientsMonitor shipments and resolve issues proactivelyMaintain accurate records and invoicing

Requirements:

5+ years in sea freight forwarding working for a UK based freight forwarderRight to work in the UK – No sponsorship is on offerStrong knowledge of Incoterms, customs, and documentationExperience with FCL/LCL shipmentsConfident communicator with commercial awarenessFamiliarity with TMS/CRM systemsWR Logistics are the recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
