We are now recruiting a Multi Modal Freight Forwarding Imports Operations Executive for our well–established freight forwarding client with offices based near Manchester Airport. Now due to expansion they are looking to add to the Freight Imports Operations team based in the MIOC building

Responsibilities

You will be dealing with all aspects of ocean and air freight forwarding Imports movements from start to finish

To complete customs entries and associated documents in a timely manner to ensure the smooth movement of consignments.

You will be required to deal with all ocean and air import documentation with an emphasis on sea imports

Liaise with shipping lines / Airlines to organise transportation

Liaison with overseas agents with regards to the Bookings.

Person Specification

Experience of Freight Imports, ideally multi modal but a good understanding of Ocean Imports is essential

Customs entries

A strong team player capable of working as an individual or in a team environment

Excellent Freight Forwarding Skills

Salary 30,000 to 35,000 circa

24 days holiday a year plus bank holidays
