Maintain strong communication with drivers and hauliers, ensuring clear expectations and compliance with company policies. Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure all transportation activities comply with Red Tractor policy, animal welfare regulations, DEFRA guidelines, and industry best practices. Maintain accurate transport records, including vehicle logs, health and safety checks, and compliance documentation. Implement and monitor biosecurity measures for transport to protect livestock health. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

Track key logistics KPIs (cost per journey, efficiency rates, on–time performance) and implement improvements where needed. Identify and implement innovative transport solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Work collaboratively with data and operations teams to improve transport planning and forecasting.

Key Skills

You will have experience in managing scheduling, route planning and supplier negotiations with the ability to communicate effectively between internal departments and external suppliers.
