Logistics Planner - Christchurch - Salary up to GBP30,000
Our client is recruiting a Logistics Planner to manage order planning and fulfilment across DC, RCC, and Dropship (e-commerce) channels.You'll review order books, stock, and inbound supply to plan and release workloads to the warehouse, ensuring timely and complete deliveries.
Responsibilities:
Logistics planning and coordination of customers' orders from point of receipt through to deliveryMonitor and stay informed of any issues (e.g. quality control, delayed goods) that may impact the timely delivery of customer orders.Contribute to the maintenance of training manuals.Maintain accurate setup and configuration in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure smooth receipt and distribution of customer accounts.Keeping the business informed of current logistics plans and any obstacles in achieving delivery deadlines.Ensure safe working practises are adhered to. Experience & Skills Required:
Ideally minimum of 2 years' experience working in logistics and dealing with customers and/or carriersGood knowledge of Excel and computer systemsProven WMS experienceProven ERP experienceAble to prioritise a busy workloadStrong communication skills, written and verbalHighly organised with great attention to detail Benefits
